"AHHHHHH!" I shouted and threw my cell phone down on the bed. I had been trying to call Nick all morning, but he wasn't answering his phone. I was frustrated and stormed down sairs.
"What's wrong Princess?" My dad asked when he saw me. He was down in the kitchen.
"This wedding stuff is annoying, and complicated! And mom isn't helping." I told him. "And now I can't get a hold of Nick ask for some help." I said, and sat down at a stool at the bar. He sat down next to me and put his arm around me.
"Hey, pretty soon it will all be over, and you will be happy and well taken care of." He said, and kissed my cheek.
"I know. It's just frustrating right now." I said, and smiled.
"Hey, it'll be fine. Trust me on this one. Your mother was a lot worse when it was our wedding!" He said, and I laughed.
"I guess you are right. I feel a little bit better." I told him.
"I'm glad you do. I'm off to country club sweatie. I will see you at dinner." He said, and left.
Jaime walked in a minute later and saw me sitting at the bar, with my head resting on it.
"Hey, whats wrong?" He asked.
"Oh, hey. Just wedding stuff." I said.
"Oh. Gotcha." He said.
"What are you doing here?" I asked him.
"I wanted to see dad about something. Is he around?" Jaime asked.
"No, you just missed him." I told him.
"Damn it. Alwell." He said.
"So, how are you and Johnny?" I asked him.
"Doing good. You should come to his tournement tomorrow." He told me.
"I don't know. I think he's still mad at me. He hasn't said a word to me since I've been back." I told him.
"All the more reason for you to come out." He said.
"I don't know. I'll think about it." I said.
"Okay. Well, I've got some things to do. See you later sis." He said, then hugged me and left.
"There you are!" My mom shouted. I sighed and put my head back down on the bar. "I've been looking everywhere for you! We need to decided where this is going to be!" She shouted.
"I told you! I'm waiting for Nick to call me back." I told her.
"It doesn't matter what he wants. This is your wedding." She told me.
"You mean it's YOUR wedding! I'm going out!" I said, and stood up.
"No you are not! Not until we figure this out." She said. "The Country Club is the perfect place for it."
"I'm not sure I want it there." I told her. She started saying something, but I just ignored her and walked back up to my room. My phone was ringing so I ran over and picked it up from my bed. I was surprised to see it was Ryan calling.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Hey! How is everything out there?" He asked me.
"Crazy." I told him.
"I miss you. I don't know anyone else here." He told me.
"So meet people." I told him.
"It's hard with school. I've been painting a lot lately." He said.
"That is great!" I told him.
"Hey, I'm actually calling to let you know that I'll be in Cali next week. I'm visiting my family. It's only a coule hours away. I was thinking we could get together and hang out." He said.
"I would love to! Just call me when you come out." I told him.
"I will." He said.
"SAM! GET DOWN HERE!" My mom yelled over the intercom.
"I've got to go." I sighted, and hung up the phone.
