I heard a squeel and opened my eyes. Jaime had Gila swung over his shoulder and they went running into the bedroom. "Hey, I'm going to head out." Ryan said, walking over to me. "Okay." I sighed, and stood up. "I'll walk you out." When we got outside of the apartment I hugged him. "I don't want any of them here." I whispered, and he laughed. "You'll be just fine. Call me if you need any help." He told me. "Okay." I told him. "Bye." "Bye." He said, and left. I turned to open the door and go back inside but just sat down in the hallway instead, and leaned my head back against the wall. A few minutes later the front door opened. "Hey, everything okay?" Gila asked. "No, everything is not okay." I told her. "What's wrong?" She asked, and walked out, shutting the door behind her. "I don't want anyone here right now!" I said. "Well, sorry!" She said. "Gila, I havn't even been back in town for a week and you just decided to pop in, completely unanounced? I love you sweetie, but this is a bad time." I said, and she looked hurt. "I just wanted to check on you." She said. "Thank you, but a phone call would be okay next time. This isn't just some party you can drop in on when you want." I told her. "Fine. I'll go then!" She said, and turned to go back inside. "Gila! You can stay. I'm just saying next time call me first. Okay?" I told her. "Yeah. Sure." She said. "You may want to get back inside. Johnny is just sitting in the kitchen looking pissed, and your brother is grilling Matt. "WHAT!?" I shouted, and jumped up. I opened the door and sure enough Jaime was sitting in the chair next to Matt and asking him questions. "Jaime! What are you doing?" I shouted. "Making sure this is a good guy." He said standing up. "Do you guys mind? All of you? Can you all just go away for like an hour so I can talk to Matt?" I asked. Gila, Johnny, and Jaime didn't say anything. "Please." I said, putting my hands over my face. "Come one guys, lets go. You can show me around." Gila said, looking at Johnny. "Whatever. Come on." Johnny said, jumping down off the countertop in the kitchen. "I'll take you to times square or something." He said, walking out the door. "Jaime." Gila said, and he got up reluctantly and followed Johnny out the door. "Thank you." I said to Gila. "Maybe you didn't have bad timing." she smiled at me. "I'll call you before we head back." She said, and left. I walked over to Matt and sat down on the couch next to him, then rested my head on his shoulder. He put his arm around me. "Hey. Sorry. I didn't mean to cause any trouble, I just really wanted to finish our conversation." he told me. "It's okay. I'm just glad my aparment cleared out." I told him. "Your brother told me to back off because you have a nice guy back home in California who can more then take care of you." Matt said. "Oh god! Are you serious? I thought of everyone out there he would understand that isn't what I want." I said. "Have you ever told anyone that isn't what you want?" He asked me. "No, I guess not." I told him. "Maybe you should." He said. "Starting with Nick." I sighed. "Yeah, I know." Matt kissed my forehead. "Do you need some time alone?" He asked me. "No. You came here to talk, so we should talk." I told him. We ended up talking for almost two hours before Gila called. I told them it was alright to come back. "I should head out then, huh?" Matt asked. "Yeah. I'm glad you stopped by to talk." I told him. "Me too. I guess we didn't really get anywhere though." He said, looking kind of disapointed. "Lets just see where things go with us, okay? I don't want to jump into anything with anyone right now." I told him. "I understand." He said, and hugged me. I said goodbye and watched him walk down the hallway. I laughed when I realized I was looking at his butt. When he got in the elevator I waived goodbye, and then went back inside and waited for Gila, Jaime, and Johnny to get back. The door opened about twenty minutes later and Gila came in, minus the guys. "Hey!" she shouted. "Johnny really knows his way around. We say some pretty cool stuff." She said. "Where are they?" I asked her. "Oh, they dropped me off at the building, and decided just to go back to Johnny's parents, I guess." She said, and sat down next to me. "What a day this has been." I told her. "Come on. This calls for a girls night. You pick the movies and I'll make the drinks." She said, and got up. I laughed at her. "Okay, but nothing strong!" I told her. "Lame!" She shouted from the kitchen. I got up and picked out a few movies then went back to my room to change into some pajamas. When I came back out she had two Pina Colada's made, and a pizza rolls in the oven. "What a horrid combination!" I told her. "Oh shoosh! We'll drink these while we are waiting for the snacks. And you can tell me what is on your mind." She told me, and pushed me out to the couch. We sat down and I told her all about how I was feeling with Nick, what happened with Matt, my dream, everything. I was glad she had stopped by to suprise me after all.
