I woke up when the sun was peeking through the blinds, and hitting me right in the face. My head hurt, and I felt sick to my stomach. I was confused for a minute. Johnny was next to me with his arm around me still asleep. We were on a floor curled up under a blanket. It wasn't his blanket though. I Sat up a little bit and looked around. Then I remembered a little bit of the night before. We were at his friends apartment. There was a big party the night before. We weren't the only ones asleep in that room either. There were a few other people on the floor around us, and there was a girl on the couch. I heard snoring coming from the chair in the corner. I put my hand on my stomach and tried to stand up, but I fell back over, and just layed my head on the pillow. I just wanted to go home! I tried to get up again, and mad it up that time. I found my way to the bathroom and made myself get sick, with hopes that I would feel better. I worked a little, but I still felt pretty lousy. I walked back out and woke up Johnny.
"What?" He mumbled, rolling over.
"I need to go home. I'm sick." I told him.
"What?" He asked again. "Oh. Okay."
While he was getting up I found my purse and shoes and pulled Johnny's sweatshirt over my head.
"Come on, I'll walk you to the subway." He said.
"Can you come home with me? I don't feel so good." I told him.
"Of course." He said, and we left the apartment.
"I don't even remember last night." I told him, holding my head.
"Hey, don't think about it, okay sweetheart? Let's just get you home." Johnny said, and put his arm around me. When we got back to my place I took some tylonol right away, and changed into some pajamas. Johnny layed me down in my bed and wrapped me up in my blankets. I fell asleep right away.

I woke up several hours later, feeling better, but still dizzy and kind of woozy. I could hear the TV on in the living room, so I got up to see what was going on. Johnny was asleep on the couch and an old episode of MASH was on the TV. I laughed when I saw it, accidently waking up Johnny.
"Hey." He said, and yawned.
"I'm never drinking that much again. I feel so sick." I told him, and layed down next to him on the couch.
"I've said that before." He said.
"I mean it. You're friends are fun, but man! This is hell." I groaned.
"You'll be okay soon. I'll get you some food." He said.
"NO!" I said, holding my stomach.
"Some crackers at least, come on." He said.
"No." I told him. I got up anyway and came back with a box of saltines. He opened up one of the packs and handed me some. Then he started eating some. I laughed, and looked over at him.
"What?" He asked.
"Aren't we sad?" I asked. "Sitting on the couch, still half drunk, eating saltines and watching MASH?" Johnny laughed at me.
"Yeah, I guess so." He said.
"So, have you thought about entering that skate tournament?" I asked him.
"Don't bring that up again." He said.
"Oh come on! You promised! I sent my pictures into that magazine, and you so said you would enter the tournament." I reminded him.
"I know. I just don't want to make an ass of myself." He said.
"You wont. You're real good." I told him.
"I'm horrible." He said. I just glared at him.
"Okay, I'll do it. I'll have to start practicing a lot though." He said.
"Good." I told him. He just rolled his eyes and I laughed at him. I saw my camera sitting on the coffee table, so I reached out and grabbed it. Then I leaned closer to Johnny and took our picture. When I developed it later, it came out looking hilarious! Both of us with messy hair and sick looks on our faces, holdong saltines and curled up under a blanket on the couch.
"That's a keeper." Johnny said, and I laughed.
"It'll be cute, I promise." I told him.
"Yeah, yeah." He said, and pinched my arm.
"HEY! I told you not to do that!" I shouted. Just then there was a knock on the door.
"Who is that?" I asked. I really didn't want to get up.
"I'll get it." Johnny said. He opened the door.
"Who are you?" A guy asked.
"I'm Johnny." Johnny answered.
"Oh...YOU'RE JOHNNY?" I recognized Ryan's voice this time. I jumped up right away.
"Wow. Rough night?" Ryan asked.
"Yeah. Come in." I told him.
"Johnny, this is my friend Ryan. Ryan, Johnny." I introduced them.
"Nice to meet you, finaly." Ryan said.
"Nice to meet you too." Johnny said, looking rather confused.
"So what brings you here?" I asked Ryan, taking my spot at the couch. Johnny sat next to me, and Ryan sat down in the chair.
"Agnus sent me to 'fetch' you for tonight. We are having a showing and she wanted some more of your photos." He said.
"Tonight?" I asked.
"Yeah." he said.
"I fell like hell." I told him.
"Nothing some water and a hot shower can't fix." He said.
"What time?" I asked him.
"8:00" He said.
"Okay. I'll be there." I told him.
"Good. Agnus will be happy." He said.
"I'll see you at 8:00." Ryan said, and got up and hugged me, then left.
"A show? That is awesome, right?" Johnny asked.
"Yeah, I just wish I felt better." I told him.
"You will." Johnny said.
"You are coming with me." I told him.
"No! I don't fancy artsy stuff." he said.
"Please?" I asked, pouting my lips.
"NO! I don't have anything nice to wear." He said.
"I can fix that." I told him.
"No. I don't fit in there." He said.
"Yes you will! I promise, now come on." I begged him. He sighed, then smiled.
"Okay." He said.
"YES! This will be so much fun!" I told him.
"Better be." He grumbled.
"What was that?" I asked him.
"Nothing." He said.

"Hurry up!" I shouted at Johnny, who was running after me.
"I'm trying! We'll be there in time, don't worry." He called back. I slowed down and started walking.
"I wanted to be there by now." I told him.
"It's only 7:30." He said.
"I know. I just like getting to these things early." I told him.
It took my hand and we walked the last block to Agnus' building. I stopped and took a deep breath. I looked at Johnny, and smiled.
"What?" He asked.
"You look really hot all dressed up fancy." I said. He was just in black pants, a white button up shirt and a black tie, but he looked good in it.
"I feel like a dork." He said.
"A very hot dork, now come on." I said, and kissed him. I held his hand, and had my portfolio tucked under my other arm.
"There you are my dear!" Agnus called when she saw me enter her studio.
"Agnus." I said, and hugged her.
"Pictures." She said, and I handed her my portfolio. She flipped through.
"This one. This one. Hmmm...This one, and deffinatly this one." She said, pulling them out. I smiled. One of them was a picture I had taken of Ryan at the park a few weeks before. He was sitting on a bench and kind of staring off to the side. I loved that one.
"Oh. Who are you?" Agnus asked Johnny.
"Oh sorry. Agnus, this is Johnny." I told her.
"Oh. I'll call him Jonathan." She said, and walked off. I looked up at Johnny and he looked confused. I just laughed.
"Sorry. She just gets that way." I told him, then kissed his cheek.
"Hey, Look at this painting." Johnny said, walking over to a abstract painting of a woman.
"It looks like you." He said.
"It does not." I told him.
"It does! It's beautiful." He said. I looked at the name of the artist, then wondered if it did look a little like me. It was one of Ryans.
"Ironic." I said.
"What?" Johnny asked.
"Nothing. Let's look around." I told him. He just smiled, and followed me around. He actually looked like he was enjoying himself too.
